Norwich Union’s Underwriting and New Business team is ranked number one in the industry by life insurance advisers, according to a recent study. The Taylor Multi Client Intermediary Study is taken annually and reviews the top 15 companies in the life market. The study is commissioned by major life insurance and funds management companies in Australia and aims at reflecting the perceptions of more than 1500 intermediaries.

Norwich Union Life MD Allan Griffiths said his staff led industry service standards with a “‘can do’ attitude. We have flexible but fair underwriting philosophes, our underwriters are easy to access and we have a comprehensive follow-up service.”

Norwich Union satisfaction index of 92% for integrity was higher than the overall market level at 89%, its underwriting/new business satisfaction was 8% higher than the market at 81%, and investment performance at 82% was above the market at 81%.

Overall performance satisfaction was 78%, three above the overall index percentage for the market.
