Direct Life insurer NobleOak has won this year’s Overall Excellence award in direct life insurance at the Plan For Life Insurance Awards.

It’s the third consecutive win in the awards for NobleOak.

MLC Life Insurance won the excellence award for health and wellness, Challenger received the longevity cover award and Generation Life took the investment bond award.

NobleOak Regional MD Rael Solomon says leading life insurers are continuing their efforts in getting the direct life market back on track.

“While it will still take time for sales to return to pre-2017 levels, the industry has focussed on improving customer service, introducing new products covering insurance gaps, through digital enhancements and sophisticated marketing,” he said.

NobleOak took out awards for customer service, income protection and total & permanent disability to earn the overall excellence gong.
