AIA Australia says it can now process cleanskin applications within 24 hours.

Submissions are made using the new Auto Complete feature on the eApp Express quoting and application system, then processed without manual intervention, according to GM Life Insurance Damien Mu.

“For advisers, the speedier turnaround of proposals into policies provides clients with the reassurance they will be covered quicker,” he said.

“From a business perspective, the new feature contributes to efficiencies within an adviser’s practice and, in turn, improves advisers’ cashflow.”

Applications that meet the Auto Complete criteria and are submitted before 6pm on weekdays will be in force the same evening, Mr Mu says.

“Technology has dramatically changed expectations for service delivery and financial advice clients and advisers are no exception,” he said.
