New TAL platform helps advisers manage professional year requirements
TAL has introduced a platform for advisers to keep track of their Professional Year requirements such as work hours and activity progress.
The life insurer says its Risk Academy team developed PY Manager in collaboration with a number of licensees with the goal of supporting the industry’s professional qualifications journey.
TAL National Sales Development Manager Jason Bamford says for many advisers, the convenience and ease of access that comes with a digital experience can lessen the burden of the Professional Year requirements.
“The Professional Year can be daunting for many, and TAL is continually looking for opportunities to help streamline this process, and support candidates, supervisors, and licensees throughout this important year,” he said.
“By providing a simple way to keep track of all the Professional Year requirements, courses and progress in one place through a digital hub, PY Manager can further support the professional development of advisers.”
TAL says its Risk Academy provides a program of courses to support the training requirements of the Professional Year and builds on existing training plans.
There are four courses focused on strategy, soft-skills and ethical dilemmas to help advisers navigate their Professional Year, or to mentor a Professional Year candidate.
