New professional services manager for FPA
Educationist Deen Sanders has been hired by the Financial Planning Association (FPA) to manage a new division that incorporates three of the association’s areas of work.
Mr Sanders, GM of the Financial Services Education Agency Australia (FSEAA), will undoubtedly give the FPA a leg-up when it comes to matters of professionalism in the industry.
CEO Jo-Anne Bloch says it’s important priority to promote development of the financial planning profession.
“Bringing these areas together will help us more effectively integrate our work in professional conduct, standards, education and certification,” she said.
Ms Bloch says Mr Sanders, through his role at the FSEAA, did a lot to ensure that the structure and delivery of education met the industry’s needs.
“At the FPA, his role will be to ensure that professional entry requirements, ongoing monitoring and discipline are aligned with professional conduct and CFP certification,” she said.
