New-look Guardian plans to grow
Guardian Financial Planning has been rebranded to Guardian Advice as part of a strategic review of the group.
The Asteron-aligned dealer group has repositioned itself as a life insurance-focused boutique operator looking for independent growth-oriented practices to join it.
Guardian EM Simon Harris says the group has built up a national network of 150 advisers in the 10 years it has been operating.
“We are on track with our target to expand that number to about 200 advisers during the next three years.”
Mr Harris says the back-office support provided by Guardian allows advisers to focus on running their business in their own way.
“We believe advisers will choose to partner with us because we will take care of the nuts and bolts of running an advice business for them,” he said.
