Kaplan Professional has launched a paraplanning course designed for existing and new paraplanners as well as those seeking a pathway into the financial advice industry.

FNS60920 Advanced Diploma of Paraplanning equips individuals with a range of financial planning services across a range of product environments, involving complex issues requiring innovative strategies, the education and training provider says.

The course combines specialist knowledge and practical skills in preparing financial plans for retail clients across three practice areas: life insurance, managed investments and superannuation.

Kaplan Professional CEO Brian Knight says the course has been developed based on feedback from corporate clients and insights from a number of experienced industry professionals.
