Commonwealth Bank has appointed Annabel Spring as the new head of its wealth division, which includes CommInsure.

Ms Spring replaces Grahame Petersen, who has become the bank’s Group Executive Business and Private Banking. He has been in charge of the wealth division since 2006.

Ms Spring joined the bank two and a half years ago and became group head of strategy. She was previously at Morgan Stanley as head of firm strategy and execution.
