New head of marketing at TAL Direct

TAL Direct has appointed David Hunt as its new chief marketing officer.

Mr Hunt has worked at an executive level for various financial services companies, including IAG, leading the brand turnarounds of NRMA Insurance, SGIO and SGIC.

He moved from the UK to Australia in 2003 to plan and lead the national launch of BankWest Retail. He subsequently worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and Straterjee.

TAL Direct operates the InsuranceLine brand, plus a number of “white label” alliances producing life insurance products and services for businesses such as Virgin Money and NIB health insurance.
