MLC has appointed Megan Beer as its new GM Group Insurance.

She replaces Andrew Howard, who is now MLC & NAB Wealth’s GM People & Culture.

Ms Beer was previously Head of Finance for MLC Insurance, and has been with the group for almost two years.

MLC EGM Insurance Duncan West says group insurance is a key driver of growth for Australian life insurers.

Prior to joining MLC, Ms Beer was at Tower Australia (now TAL) for seven years and held a range of senior roles.

Meanwhile, TAL has expanded its national sales team with the appointment of Beau Riley as National Dealership Manager.

He was formerly Head of Retail Business Development at RGA and will now manage TAL’s dealer group partnerships.

The insurer has also appointed Marcus O’Sullivan as Queensland State Sales Manager. He was previously National Manager for Risk at BT Dealer Groups.
