New faces at FPA
After almost two years of turmoil and negative media attention, the Financial Planning Association (FPA) has appointed two new executives to plug some gaps left by the departure of two senior staffers earlier this year.
Accountant Andrew Miles has been appointed GM Finance & Administration, and Andrew McClure, the FPA’s former Membership Relationship Manager, will become Chapter Manager.
Following the departure of former GM Member Services Rohan Burgess last month, CEO Kerrie Kelly said the financial planners’ peak body would reduce the number of managers and drop the Membership Relationship Manager position.
She says part of the reason for the move is to “shorten the line of communication and to ensure that members’ issues are brought to the CEO”.
Both positions are based in Melbourne.
