New directors for FPA
Three high-profile advisers have been elected to the to the Financial Planning Association (FPA) board.
Neil Kendall of Tupicoffs, Portfolio & Wealth Management director Peter O’Toole and long-time adviser Julie Matheson were elected practitioner members of the board in the recent electronic ballot.
Ms Matheson was previously a FPA director in 2006-09 and was famously removed from being chairman of the Perth chapter by the FPA in 2006.
A total of 23 candidates stood for the election, with sitting director Martin McIntosh losing his bid for re-election.
FPA Chairman Julie Berry will stand down at the association’s November AGM, to be replaced by Deputy Chairman Matthew Rowe from Adelaide.
