ClearView Wealth has a new board following its 80% takeover by private equity group Crescent Capital.

The new board members are David Brown, Gary Burg, Bruce Edwards, Les Fallick, Nathanial Thomson and Gary Weiss, who is Deputy Chairman.

Under a deal struck with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, Chairman Ray Kellerman and non-executive director Sue Thomas will remain in place until June 30 next year.

Mr Weiss will then become chairman and Crescent founder Michael Alscher will join the board, along with Macquarie representative Michael Lukin.

MD Simon Swanson will retain his position, while previous directors David Goodsall, Anne Keating and John Murphy have resigned.
