Suncorp Life dealer group Guardian Financial Planning has appointed Simon Harris as its new Executive Manager.

Mr Harris was Head of National Accounts at CommInsure for the past four years and has previously worked at both Tower and Axa.

His new role will be to reposition the group under Suncorp Life to attract more advisers and improve its offer to existing advisers operating under the Guardian licence.

He will report to Asteron EGM Jordan Hawke as part of a simplified structure for Suncorp Life’s distribution channels.
