Incoming AMP CEO Craig Meller has appointed a new 10-member leadership team, with Gordon Lefevre named as CFO.

The team includes Group Executive Insurance and Super Pauline Blight-Johnston, who will oversee risk insurance, retail super, investment and pensions and platform business portfolios.

Group Executive Operations Wendy Thorpe will run customer services, contact centres, underwriting and claims operations portfolios.

MD AMP Capital Stephen Dunne is responsible for investment management and Asian growth strategy portfolios.

Mr Meller says the new leadership structure will create a leaner and increasingly customer-driven organisation.

The team will also include CIO Lee Barnett.

Mr Lefevre will become CFO in March. He joins from construction company Grocon and has served as deputy CFO of NAB.
