NEOS has won its first Life Company of the Year award, edging out TAL and MetLife. The business also triumphed in other categories in the Association of Financial Advisers’ (AFA) annual awards event.

TAL topped the Overall Platinum category for Life Company of the Year honours until NEOS broke through to win the 2022 award.

“Despite the challenges in this sector in recent years, life insurance companies continue to innovate and adapt to the changing environment,” President Sam Perera said.

“Most important is their ongoing role in providing certainty and security to millions of Australians every year.”

The Risk Product Awards, including Life Company of the Year, are offered in conjunction with Plan For Life, while the Client Service Team Awards are in partnership with the Beddoes Institute.
