MLC reshapes adviser support program
MLC Life is helping financial advisers improve their client communication skills by revamping an advice-support model it set up last year.
Its business engagement managers, introduced to help advisers understand changing customer needs and build long-term relationships, will focus on equipping them with the skills and knowledge to connect with clients.
The managers will also discuss ways advisers can better run their businesses.
“We know advisers are specialists in providing financial advice but historically haven’t been experts in marketing activities, latest fintech capability or customer engagement,” Chief Customer Officer Sean McCormack said.
“Our [business engagement managers] are here to support them to build the skills and resources in these areas to better interact with their customers.”
