MLC Life has appointed Catherine Dube to its board in a non-executive director role.  

Ms Dube was named Chair of the Board Audit Committee, replacing Sandra Birkensleigh, as part of a “planned board renewal”.  

Ms Dube holds over 25 years of experience in non-director roles and currently serves at Guild Group and specialist insurer Assetinsure. She was also chief risk officer at AIG from 2012 to 2019.   

MLC Life Chairman Peter Grey praised Ms Dube’s “proven record in delivering sustainable business growth, managing risk and regulatory complexity and motivating organisations to deliver in a competitive landscape,” as it moves to the next phase of its business strategy. 

Ms Dube will commence her role from December 16.
