It’s insurance awards time. The National Insurance Brokers Association is polling brokers for its annual “General Insurer of the Year” and Warren Tickle awards (entries close on Friday) which will be awarded at next month’s convention.

Meanwhile, Personal Investor magazine has awarded its own life-based “Insurance Company of the Year” award to MLC for the second year running. The awards cover many aspects of the financial services sector, including banking, insurance and investment products.

MLC also won several product award categories including its trauma, income protection and life products. It was well received by Wealth Protection CEO Lisa Gray, who said the awards were won in a highly competitive market.
