MetLife hires Tse to help deal with regulatory challenges

MetLife Australia has hired KPMG director Wendy Tse as its Chief of Staff and External Affairs, saying it anticipates more regulatory challenges will be faced by its clients this year.

Ms Tse will take on the role in April, advising clients on regulatory and government affairs and representing CEO Richard Nunn across the industry. She has been in KPMG’s superannuation advisory team for two years and has almost 20 years’ experience in wealth management, compliance and transition management.

“We anticipate the regulatory environment will continue to evolve this year and it will be challenging for our clients and customers,” Mr Nunn said. “We need to work in partnership with them to navigate this changing landscape. We intend to be a strategic partner for our clients, adding value at a tactical level.”

Prior to KPMG, Ms Tse was GM of consulting at SuperRatings. She has also held numerous other positions in global consultancy firms.
