MetLife expands team for retail push
MetLife has created two new leadership roles to boost its presence in the retail life insurance market.
It has appointed Gary Bailison as Head of Individual Insurance and Andrew Hosie as Wellbeing Stream Lead.
Mr Bailison was previously head of retail advice product and pricing at CommInsure.
MetLife Chief Product and Marketing Officer Tim Tez says Mr Bailison’s role is particularly significant as the insurer aims to build its retail offering.
Mr Hosie joins MetLife from Sydney Trains/Rail Corporation, where he was responsible for developing preventative health management programs and implementing health and safety strategies.
Last month MetLife appointed Maria Crocker as Product Strategy Manager. She joined from ANZ Wealth, where she was responsible for group life.
“Ms Crocker will drive innovation in our products and services in the group market, while Mr
Bailison’s expertise and track record in product development will be a welcome contribution in the individual insurance market for us,” Mr Tez said.
