Paradigm Group has appointed Carsten Zuber as Head of Operations, to drive further expansion.

Mr Zuber was previously project manager at Industry Funds Services, with responsibility for group life insurance products.

He has also worked as life insurance manager for dealer group Garrisons, and was responsible for group life at QInvest.

“I’ll have several responsibilities within Paradigm, but one of the early priorities is to focus on the life insurance arm… an aspect of financial planning that is particularly close to my heart,” Mr Zuber said.

He says wealth management group Paradigm’s current life insurance business is a platform on which to build.

“Australians are woefully underinsured and the problem is compounded… when it comes to business insurance – key person and business succession issues in particular.

“Many older advisers who operated in this market have left the sector, leaving a void that Paradigm is well placed to fill.”
