Life insurance education courses launched for financial advisers
Six new courses to equip financial advisers for a fast-changing environment have been rolled out by TAL Risk Academy.
Life insurer TAL says the new courses from this month until the end of the year built on the strong uptake in the first half of the year.
More than 1700 advisers enrolled in May’s Ethics Month courses.
TAL GM Retail Sales and New Business, Beau Riley says the courses are delivered through a blend of interactive workshops, online resources and networking opportunities.
“At TAL, our ambition is to make life insurance better understood and valued and our partnership with advisers is important to achieving that, while ensuring more Australians have the right protection in place.”
The courses have been developed in collaboration with industry experts and help to meet continuing professional development requirements.
“In an era of technological advancements and regulatory changes, our program is designed to empower advisers with the latest industry knowledge, best practices, and risk management strategies to support them to provide exceptional advice and value to their clients,” Mr Riley said.
Included in the course program is a presentation by Council of Life Insurers CEO Christine Cupitt on the future of life insurance. A mental health series and Ask An Expert series will be available each month.
