Integrity Life has announced the appointments of two new senior underwriters as it hails its recent “significant growth”.

Matt Pereira-Smith specialises in underwriting, financial markets and wealth management and is an active member of subcommittees for the Australasian Life Underwriting Claims Association.

Mervyn Lam joins Integrity after nine years at AIA Australia, where he served in a similar position. Mr Lam is also a certified Actuarial Analyst.

Integrity Life Product & Proposition GM Gary Bailison says the hires complement the group’s expertise and add to an exciting set of additions in recent months.

“They offer great value to Integrity, our advisers and our customers as we continue to grow into the emerging fresh, alternative life insurer the industry needs,” Mr Bailison said.

“These changes are in addition to other recent appointments bringing in a wealth of industry experience and capability – Liz Versace as Customer Care Team Leader, and Stuart Lay and Andrew Kelly as Senior Claims Assessors.”
