ING Australia funds management division has won the Australian Quality Council’s Gold Australia Business Excellence Award. It’s the first time the award has been made to a financial services company.

The award stands for a three-year period, and was presented as part of an international business excellence summit in Sydney.

ING had to host a two-day site visit by AQC assessors, who examined such aspects as leadership and innovation, strategy and planning, information and knowledge, people, customer and market focus, products, process and services and business results.
