Long-serving insurance executive Gavin Pearce will take up the role of Director of Life Risk at ING Australia from mid-March.

He replaces Robin Knight, who acted in the role for the past six months.

Mr Pearce was previously CEO of the Tower Australia Non-Core Australian Investment division. He has also held senior roles at AMP, GIO and Metlife Insurance in Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Zurich Financial Services Australia has appointed former ING executive Colin Morgan to head up its life risk business in Australia. Mr Morgan was previously Executive Director of ING Advice and prior to that CEO Life and Investments of ING Italy.
