Industry seeks applicants for adviser support program
Applications have opened for the Council of Australian Life Insurers’ annual support program for mid-career female financial risk advisers.
The council says the ReCALIbrate program will provide five women with $2000 grants to attend the November 27-29 Financial Advice Association Australia conference in Brisbane.
“The ... grants give women the flexibility they need to pay for childcare and other costs associated with leaving their families for a few days,” CEO Christine Cupitt said. “These are the things that can hold women back from participating in important industry discussions and education opportunities.”
Each applicant will be paired with a life insurance industry leader to provide a forum for mentorship, learning, support and advice, CALI says.
The peak body launched the program last year. The closing date for applications is September 8.
