Hammelmann joins Guardian as Queensland manager
Guardian Advice has appointed Andrew Hammelmann as Queensland State Manager, replacing Hugh McLennan.
Mr Hammelmann previously served as practice development manger at MLC and worked in a similar position for NAB Financial Planning.
He will oversee Guardian’s strategic plan in the state, with responsibility for attracting new advice practices and coaching and supervising authorised representatives.
Head of Guardian Advice Simon Harris says Mr Hammelmann is a seasoned executive with skills in practice development, relationship management and compliance.
“It’s very rare to find someone with such diverse experience in the financial planning licensee space. I’m confident he will add depth of experience and professionalism to Guardian’s management team.”
Mr McLennan has become Guardian’s Queensland Practice Development Manager.
