Pacific Life Re Australia has announced Martyn Gilling will head its Client Solutions, responsible for market strategy and sales and developing solutions for clients.

Mr Gilling, who reports to GM Tyson Johnston, has more than 30 years’ experience in insurance, working across the Canadian, Australian, UK, Caribbean and Latin American markets.

He was formerly VP of Business Development at Reinsurance Group of America in Canada. He also held positions at RGA Australia, MLC, CommInsure and Swiss Re.
