Gallagher Bassett and specialist risk insurance adviser Australian Financial Risk Management (AFRM) have jointly established AFRM Claims Advocacy.

The business provides personalised support for policyholders’ claims, and also aims to improve financial outcomes and relationships for insurers, superannuation fund managers and trustees.

After significant health events, clients are given personal claims advocates to assist, provide resources and form a support network during times of need.

“We put the customer at the centre of everything we do,” founding director Rob Vitnell said.

“[The advocacy] aims to give policyholders the best support and advice in their time of need, which we believe will enable them to achieve better financial and wealth outcomes.”
