Third-party claims administrator Gallagher Bassett has established a life and disability division in Sydney and Auckland to improve claims outcomes.

Executive Director of Life and Disability Products Australia and New Zealand Shayne Milsom will lead the new operation.

“The life industry is evolving and we are very clear that we need to be at the forefront of that change ongoing,” Mr Milsom said.

“We endeavour to be our customers’ trusted business partner and we are confident that with the team of experienced individuals we have, this will be an amazing success”.

Gallagher Bassett will apply its personal injury claims management model to the new division, and is reviewing income protection claims to improve customer experiences.
