The Financial Services Council will host the inaugural Life Insurance Awards Dinner next year as it seeks to increase its influence in the broader financial services sector.

The black-tie event will be held at the Sofitel in Sydney on March 20, the night before the council’s Life Insurance Conference.

There will be six prize categories including consumer and product innovation, client retention, customer engagement, young achiever and industry pioneer.
