The Financial Services Council has announced the winners of its second annual Life Insurance Awards.

AMP Director Insurance Megan Beer has secured the industry pioneer prize, while BT Financial Group National Underwriting, New Business and Claims Manager Tracey Crowe won the leadership award.

ANZ Wealth’s Direct Life Insurance Product Manager Rajasree Variyar was named young achiever.

The Zurich Life and Investments Research Program won the “big thinking” award and BT Financial Group’s BT Insights secured the social media innovation prize. The consumer innovation award went to Asteron Life’s Smarter Years campaign.

The awards recognise outstanding achievement in the life industry.
