FPA revisits professional development standards
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has released a new draft policy on continuing professional development that aims to give members a more rounded financial education.
CEO Jo-Anne Bloch says the updated policy encourages members to develop additional competence in areas appropriate to their professional needs.
It also discourages members from selecting a narrow course of study.
FPA members have until October 31 to comment on the draft policy. A new policy will be fully adopted by July next year.
