FPA puts dollar value on financial advice
Financial advice can benefit the average Australian by more than $200,000, the Financial Planning Association says.
Its Value of Advice survey says eight case studies showed a combined $1.7 million increase by seeking professional financial advice.
The report identifies 13 key areas where consumers can benefit from advice, including future cost avoidance, reduced lifestyle instability, enhanced life opportunities, peace of mind, greater control of finances, a more comfortable retirement, avoidance of bad investments, following a budget and improving saving abilities.
