FPA online tool addresses FASEA confusion
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has launched an online education portal to combat confusion about forthcoming higher education requirements for advisers.
The Return to Learn portal will provide information on the latest education and ethics policy developments from the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority. It also features a guide to study credits, video tutorials, information about approved tertiary education providers and a cost comparison tool for courses.
FPA CEO Dante De Gori says many advisers are confused about the requirements, and there is no time to waste. New professional development standards now apply and advisers must pass an industry exam within two years.
