The Financial Planning Association has appointed Marisa Broome as Chairman, taking over from Neil Kendall, who has served on the board for eight years.

Ms Broome is chairman of the policy and regulations committee and the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority working group, and is a member of the audit and risk management committee. She is the Principal of financial planning practice wealthadvice.

“We will continue to focus on strong professional standards, professional education and engagement with consumers around quality advice,” Ms Broome said.
