FPA hails Ask an Expert Week success
This year’s Ask an Expert Week attracted a record number of consumers seeking professional advice and financial tips, according to the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
The scheme’s website received 7038 page views from February 3-9, while views of the FPA’s Find a Planner page totalled 6711, about triple the previous week’s figure.
Association CEO Mark Rantall says the event proves there is high demand for advice, and that the planning profession can make a difference in people’s lives.
“We view these strong engagement results as everyday support for the FPA’s continued lobbying for sensible reforms that are in the best interests of all consumers,” he said.
The Ask an Expert page opened on January 28, before the start of the promotional week. In total it attracted 8704 views and 1662 unique visitors, who posted more than 150 questions.
The FPA has also launched a blog with tips and advice.
