The Financial Planning Association (FPA) farewelled CEO Kerrie Kelly yesterday, and announced her short-term replacement, COO Andrew Miles.

Chairman Corinna Dieters says Ms Kelly’s time in the FPA hot seat has resulted in “a more focused professional association”. Ms Kelly is leaving to become Executive Director of the Insurance Council of Australia.

Ms Deiters says while the search for Ms Kelly’s replacement is well advanced, the association isn’t at the stage where it can make an announcement.

Mr Miles will assume responsibility for all operational and finance matters.
