Julie Berry will take up the chairmanship of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) at the end of next month, replacing Corinna Dieters. Mark Spiers will be the new Deputy Chairman.

Ms Berry has been a financial adviser for more than 17 years and a director of the FPA since 2003.

Four new directors have also been elected to the board. They are Andrew Waddell, Paul Gerrard, Matthew Rowe and Rob Pedersen.
