FPA calls for Future2 grant nominations
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) wants members to nominate non-profit organisations to receive grants from its Future2 philanthropic arm.
Since 2007 Future2 has delivered $688,000 in grants thanks to members’ fundraising efforts.
The annual grant program helps projects supporting young Australians in need, including people outside mainstream education, living with intellectual or physical disability, fighting addiction, in dysfunctional families, in the justice system, or new migrants.
“Last year Future2 was able to award $147,000 in grants and, through the generous support from FPA members, we hope to surpass that for this year,” FPA COO Pene Lovett said.
Nominations close on July 21, and grants will be announced at the FPA Professionals Congress in Hobart in November. For more information, click here.
