The Financial Planning Association’s charity arm, Future2, is calling for people to join its annual charity bike ride and hiking challenge in November.

The Wheel Classic – now in its 10th year – will ride 819 km from Melbourne’s Federation Square, through the Daylesford Ranges and south to Apollo Bay, before looping back to Melbourne. The hiking challenge will cover 25km over two days in the Grampians. MLC Wealth and IRESS are sponsoring the events.

Future2 is raising funds to support young disadvantaged Australians experiencing social, physical or financial hardship. The charity has provided more than $1 million in grants to different organisations since it began, including $160,000 last year.
