FPA aims for recruitment success
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has moved into the recruitment sector by launching a website facility for employers and job seekers in the financial planning industry.
The association says the website will offer FPA principal and practitioner members discounted rates for advertising financial planning positions. It will also allow job seekers to upload their resumés.
The development comes through a partnership with CountingJobs, an independent company dedicated to online advertising of financial planning positions in Australia and overseas.
FPA CEO Jo-Anne Bloch says the association wants to make its website an essential resource for practitioner members and the broader profession.
The FPA website attracts 12,000 members, of whom about 9000 are practising financial planners.
