Former Head of Insurance in Super at NAB Tim Jenkins has joined actuarial firm Rice Warner to become EGM Super.

Mr Jenkins started his career as an actuary with Mercer before becoming MD of Mercer New Zealand.

He moved to NAB in 2013 where his roles included the transition of $25 billion of assets to MySuper, the successor fund transfer of more than 1 million members in NAB super funds to the new MLC Super Fund.

Also the establishment of a new insurance operating model following the sale of 80% of MLC Life Insurance to Nippon Life.

Rice Warner CEO Michael Rice says Mr Jenkins is highly regarded among the industry for his leadership, knowledge and client focus.

“We are looking forward to Mr Jenkins joining the Rice Warner team where his strengths and experience will be felt in-house and across our client base,” Mr Warner said.

“His focus at Rice Warner will be on providing strategic and tactical advice to super clients, including product management and development.”
