TAL Retail has appointed Greg Johnson as its head of product and marketing.

Mr Johnson was previously head of product at Aussie Group and has also worked at Commonwealth Bank in group and retail banking.

At the Aussie Group he expanded the mortgage-based business to sell life insurance, general insurance and personal lending.
