Criticisms over a lack of transparency in rulings by the Financial Industry Complaints Service (FICS) are being met with diplomacy by the complaints board.

FICS will meet with members later this month in an attempt to bridge the divide with member critics who accuse the service of ruling arbitrarily and without good reason.

CEO Alison Maynard says the inaugural forum will give members a greater insight into how the service operates.
