FAAA finalises adviser awards contenders
The Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) has finalised contenders for its first ever excellence awards.
FAAA launched the awards following its creation this year from the merger of the Association of Financial Advisers and Financial Planning Association.
Winners will be announced on November 21 at the FAAA Congress gala dinner in Adelaide on November 21.
FAAA CEO Sarah Abood says the awards celebrate the commitment, talent, and passion of advisers.
“A huge congratulations to all the 2023 finalists. Each finalist has demonstrated a tireless dedication to their profession, their clients and their communities, improving the lives of Australians for the better,” she said.
Here are the finalists across the six categories:
Certified Financial Planner Professional of the Year – Hamish Landreth (Prosperity Advisers Group, Queensland), Martin McGrath (Financial Edge Group, NSW) and Bianca Musico (Warr Hunt, Victoria)
Adviser of the Year – Sacha Burchgart (Burcheart, NSW), Robin Sandover (The Wealth Designers, WA) and Jordan Vaka (PlanningSolo, Victoria)
Inspire Women Excellence in Advice Award – Kathy Havers (Viridian Advisory, Victoria), Kelly King (Iconic Wealth, WA), Cara Williams (Sufficient Funds, QLD)
Professional Practice of the Year – Boutique Advisers (WA), Future Gen Solutions (Queensland) and Warr Hunt (Victoria)
Gen Next Rising Star of the Year – Jayden Adams (Adams Financial Group, Queensland), Scott Hendy (Focused Advisers, Queensland) and Jennifer Laing (Modern You Financial Planners, Queensland)
University Student of the Year – Jenna Bonaccorsi (Griffith University), Rojen Legaspi (Deakin University) and Jacob Eliopoulos (Deakin University).
