Former TAL executive underwriting manager for group risk Michael Renny is to join Swiss Re as Head of Underwriting.

He will work across the retail and group life business, according to Swiss Re Head of Life and Health Helen Troup.

“His strong mix of reinsurance and direct office experience makes him ideally suited for our business,” she told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Before joining TAL Mr Renny was technical risk consultant (underwriting and claims) at RGA Reinsurance.
