Ex-TAL chief steps in at ASFA
Former TAL CEO Jim Minto has been appointed Acting CEO of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA).
He replaces long-serving CEO Pauline Vamos, who announced her resignation five months ago and leaves on Friday.
Mr Minto is the immediate past chairman of ASFA and a director of Dai-ichi Life Asia-Pacific.
ASFA Chairman Michael Easson says the association hopes to conclude its search for a permanent CEO by September.
“In the meantime, we are delighted to have a leader of Jim Minto’s calibre and experience step in during this transition period,” he said.
