Education changes for FPA

The Financial Planning Association (FPA), the peak body supporting financial planners, has appointed Tribeca Learning to handle its education services.

The move will mostly concern members doing the Diploma of Financial Services and Advanced Diploma of Financial Services courses.

Tribeca will deliver both from the beginning of next year.

The FPA will now focus on education initiatives for Certified Financial Planners (CFP) and professional development.

CEO Kerrie Kelly says no current members will be disadvantaged by the move and no additional costs will be passed on.

“The FPA’s own future learning programs will be aimed at helping financial planners to achieve CFP certification status and to provide continuing professional development programs,” she said.
